I cant say we had bad service because in over 20 minutes of waiting we had no service at all. 2 other people in the restaurant and couldn't even get the server to come over so we could order a cup of coffee. We had to approach her and she wouldn't even come to our table, just asked how many coffees we wanted. I do not recommend going there until they get it together!!
The service is fantastic in the hotel and at the bistro! The food is the best and the prices are unbeatable!! The rooms are great as well. It's always a good time when I stay at the GDI!!
Excellent breakfast that comes free with the room daily, lovely wait staff and very accomadating portions.
We did not enjoy the food here. The sauce that comes with the veal parmesan tastes exactly like they opened a jar of Prego sauce. Not good. Husbands veal cutlet dinner had barely any gravy and mashed potatoes were very dry.
Was staying in a nearby hotel for a while so found myself in the restaurant often. For the most part the service was superb. The young lady with glasses was absolutely amazing. Always friendly, and on the ball. The red head girl also always provided me with great service. The girls always had recommendations for me and remembered my drinks, and my food was always stellar. My only complaint comes from the couple times I went for breakfast during the week. The older lady working often seemed stressed, behind, and quite unprofessional at many times. She also seemed to always struggle with the computer system they had making things move slower. All around impressed with the food, servers, and cleanliness. Will definitely return if I'm in town again.
